2019: Group collapses structure to support Atiku in Ebonyi…

AtikuA nongovernment organization in Ebonyi state, Caring Foundation, has collapsed its grassroot structures in Ohaozara/Onicha/Ivo federal constituency to support the election of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, the Presidential Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) in the 2019 general elections.
The group said the All Progressives Congress (APC) has destroyed the nation and could no longer be trusted again to govern the country.
The group at its emergency meeting in Abakaliki on Wednesday said the Peoples Democratic Party presidential candidate is the only candidate with the capacity and experience needed to get Nigeria Working again.
The meeting which was convened by the member representing the constituency in the National Assembly, Chief Linus Abaa Okorie, stated that the group was collapsing into Friends of Atiku, a pro-Atiku support group.

In a motion moved by Comrade Lazarus Nwaguw and seconded by Hon. Paulinus Ndukwe ―Caringheart Foundation said they would deploy their grassroots structure to ensure the election of Chief Atiku Abubakar as President of Nigeria in 2019.
In his remarks during the meeting, Hon. Okorie, who is the Coordinator of Friends of Atiku in the state noted that the mandate of the group is to ensure the election of the former Vice President as the next President of Nigeria in the next year’s presidential election.
He proceeded to set up a 5-man committee in all the polling units across the state, whose duty would be to work closely with all political stakeholders in the various wards to elect Atiku in 2019.
